The Journal of the Korean Society for Geospatial Information Science (KOGSIS) has played an essential role for academic researches and technological exchanges on the acquisition and utilization of geospatial information, since it was launched in 1993. It contributes to the improvement of the state-of-the-art technologies and the production of future creative industries based on various fields of geospatial information, such as national security, transportation, weather, urban studies, natural disasters, remote sensing, natural resources, computer science, landscape architecture, geography, cadaster, underground facilities, surveying, statistics, environment, etc. This Journal is abstracted in Korea Citation Index (KCI) and published quarterly in March, June, September, and December each year.
